The apartments of the farm holiday ‘Il Boschetto’ offer you a comfortable own home during your vacations and will give you the possibility to explore the Island of Elba just as you like it.
We are not a large apartment complex – it’s the opposite! Our family is taking care of our guests with a lot of heart – always trying to fulfil all your wishes.
Ready for your stay are four 2-room apartments for up to 4 persons and one 3-room for up to 6.
The furnishing is functional, but new and appealing. The apartments have a double bedroom (or 2 double bedrooms in the bigger one), a nice bathroom with a shower cabin and a living area with kitchenette, dining table and chairs and a pull out sofa bed.
Each apartment has at least one large private balcony to relax in the sun or to have a peaceful meal outside under the sunshade.
Mamma Anna herself is taking care of maintenance and cleaning of the apartments and you can be assured that you will spend your holiday with us in markedly clean and hygienic apartments.
Anna is the soul of the family which is composed by her husband Aldo, four sons, two daughters-in-law and by now 3 grandchildren.
She is an excellent cook and our guests have the possibility to order some of her wonderful plates which than get delivered inside the apartment.
The second passion of the family is the agri-farm. Depending on the season, you will always find fresh and organic vegetables and fruits ‘down to Anna’ which can be purchased together with fresh eggs during the day.
Maybe you will also find freshly slaughtered chicken, beef or pork or get fresh cow milk.
And we should not forget the wine! The family produces own biologic wine – which is also always available!
Babbo Aldo and his oldest son Gaio are taking care of the family-farm. The testify with all their heart and deepest conviction for the freshness, taste and purity of their products.
If you like eating fish Gaio is the right person to let you find some beautiful ‘frutti di mare’ on your table. He takes part of the Italian national team of diving in apnea and goes down to 30 meters without an air tank to than bring up the best and tasty seafood.
Maybe you would like to join him on the boat – Sure it would be interesting – he is an expert for the sea around the island.
The sandy and gravel beach of Barbarossa is our home beach. If you want to reach it by walking, you will need about 15 minutes passing at the Località Travaglio, the agricultural area and the vineyard of the family.
Here is situated also the home of Jana and Dario, the 2nd son of the family and their children.
Jana is German and is always happy to speak some English and maybe give some advice and tips around the Island of Elba.
The location of the apartment house ‘Il Boschetto’ on the periphery of the little town of Porto Azzurro gives our guests every opportunity to go on discovery by car or also on foot.
At the house you have a private parking for your car and for discovering beautiful Porto Azzurro you can leave it there in the shade. In only 10 minutes on foot you reach the town with everything the vacationer’s heart desires.
During the day you can do your shopping at the supermarket, find a post office, pharmacy, doctor and all the necessary shops.
In the evening there is to enjoy the atmosphere of the beautiful shops in the winding streets of the old part of the town and the recently restructured piazza.
A delicious glass of wine or an inviting ice-cream can be enjoyed with a magnificent view overlooking the Port and the impressive yachts – maybe accompanied by the guitar music of a road musician?
