Hotel Aurora – Elba Island:
L’Hotel Aurora is located in Chiessi, a small hamlet along the western coast of the Island of Elba called Costa del Sole (Sun Coast). The village, made up of white houses, stands out among the green of the mountain and the intense blue of the sea.
The bay, thanks to the gradient breezes that blow constantly during all summer, allows tranquil and marvellous outings for the lovers of windsurf or small sail boats.The tranquillity of this corner of the island is reflected in the familiarity of the hotel though always maintaining an excellent service provided by the owners themselves.
The Hotel Aurora, located at about 50-70 metres from the sea is divided into four structures, the central body made up of the reception, dining room, bar area, and the small terraces of the ‘Ã la carte’ restaurant. Located above the dining room is the main terrace where you can admire the opposite bay with its enchanting sunsets over Corsica and Capraia.
All the rooms are furnished with private services, TV Sat, air conditioning/heating and hair dryer.
Unmissable are the sunsets on the external terrace of the restaurant, maybe while enjoying a nice dish of fish washed down with some good white doc wine of our magnificent island.
The privileged position of Chiessi allows you to enjoy the sea from the reefs or from the white shingled beach, apart from a various selection of paths, all marked on the CAI guides, that climb up to the top of the mountain through vegetable gardens and vineyards for walking lovers and for the bravest mountain bikers.
For those who prefer sandy beaches, the beaches of Fetovaia, Cavoli, Seccheto or Sant’Andrea can be reached in only five minutes by car.
