The HOTEL CASA ROSA
is situated exactly in the center of the Biodola Gulf, the most exclusive beach of the island of Elba, positioned in the national Park of the Tuscan Archipelago and therefore surrounded by mediterranean vegetation and woods.
The beach, of fine white sand, is framed by cliffs on the right and the left side and so even those who do not like the sand to much can find their own ideal little place.
The Hotel is just 200 meters away from the sea and disposes of an equipped private beach reserved for our guests with the possibility to rent our special multi-color pedalos or kayaks.
The waters are crystal clear and the Biodola beach, with the ones of Marciana Marina and Procchio, have been classified among the five cleanest areas in Italy.
One reason is that there are no harbors and no waste dumping into the waters at all.
From the Hotel Casa Rosa you can easily reach Portoferraio, the major town of the island, just 6 km far away.
The Scaglieri creek, with its bars, restaurants and small shops (selling a bit of everything) is only 500 meters away from the hotel.
The Hotel Casa Rosa has various different rooms with TV, telephone, air-con. and private services.
The hotel disposes also of a large private parking, a shaded park, a panoramic swimming pool with solarium, a tennis court, table tennis, a playground for children and a special little kitchen where ‘momies’ can prepare themselves the meals for their children.
On the large panoramic terrace our guests can enjoy a drink from one of our bars, watching the stunning sunsets.
The kitchen is optimal, with a large choice, including fresh fish, specially controlled meat and delicious deserts, everything prepared by our chef. Our breakfast buffet offers a large choice, yogurt, cereals, various jams and pastries.
Those who wish can find a private reading room, a TV-room to watch your favorite program in company or to avoid to go back to your room, as the rooms are not all situated in a central building, but some are located in small buildings in the park.
The large area (nearly 5 hectars) surrounding the Hotel and its position assure the peace and tranquillity of your holidays. The only noises you hear are the waves of the ocean, the cries of the seagulls and the wind in the trees.
Baby Club
The Hotel Casa Rosa not only offers your children a playground, but also the BABY CLUB “MARINO IL CAVALLUCCIO” (“Seahorse Marino”), where our little guests can have fun participating in the numerous activities we offer during the day, such as free play, movement play and group games organized by our animators.
Our Baby Club is based in three locations: No. 01 is the fairy castle, No. 02 is located close to the reception area and will be the meeting point with our animators and No. 03 is at the Taverna dei Pirati.
The BABY CLUB is designed for children aged between 3 and 12 years old, but also our youngest guests are welcome if accompanied by an adult. While their parents relax, the children have fun exploring many new things and making new friends with other kids.
We will do our best to make your children’s stay on the Island of Elba an enjoyable one, offering them a playground in the shade of our hotel gardens, where they will find swings, slides and play houses, but also a tennis court, table-football, basketball, table-tennis, as well as chairs and tables where they can draw and listen to stories in quiet moments. And should the weather not permit us to stay outdoors, there will be sheltered areas to play in.
… and once a week we organize a baby dance evening at the Taverna dei Pirati, which all children will surely look forward to with enthusiasm!
The Tavern
In the locality Biodola, near to the Hotel Casa Rosa, immersed in a park and at only 100 meters from the splendid sandy beach lies the “Pirates Taverna”. Here you can drink an authentic carribean rhum, eat something while the two pirates get ready for their nightly activities or duels.
The taverna is open from the late morning until late night and is also a well known Pizzeria, open only during the summer time. Here you can get unforgettable Pizzas that you can enjoy outside, being comfortably seated under century old pine trees. Sometimes it happens that our pirate “Tiger” feels like playing some live music…and as you well know, a pirate is not a musician…I leave it up to you to imagine the consequences
In one word, you have to come to the “Pirates Taverna” not so much for a drink or a meal, but to see the place, were every detail reminds the Caribbean, pirates, sail boats, buccaneers …. in one word, we are waiting for you….and don’t forget, take a sword when coming, one never knows !
