Set in a crescent-shaped bay and sheltered on its western side by its charming harbour, Marciana Marina is one of the most picturesque and characterful villages on Elba Island. Awarded the Blue Flag for its tourist marina, the village lies beneath the imposing Monte Capanne, which rises to 1,019 metres above sea level.
With all the facilities visitors could need, Marciana Marina is home to three small, well-equipped beaches. Within just a few minutes by car, you can also reach some of the island’s most famous beaches on both the northern and southern coasts.
The seafront promenade, closed to traffic from 1 pm until midnight, becomes the largest pedestrian area on Elba. It’s a wonderful place for an evening stroll, stretching from the charming old quarter known as Il Cotone to the historic Pisan Tower overlooking the harbour. Along the way you’ll find plenty of shops, cafés and some of the best restaurants
