Description
On the island of Elba the Hotel Residence Iselba, which is immersed in the green of a luxuriant mediterranean pine forest of 20.000 mq, is situated on the sandy beach of Marina di Campo, 800 meters far from the town centre.
You will find 39 flats of different sizes with a garden or a terrace in this resort.
All apartments of Residence Iselba are modern and include air conditioning, heating, colour TV and telephone, safe, hairdryer. A full room service is included.
Iselba has also some double bedrooms with breakfast included, with bathroom; ground floor with sea-view outside little terrace.
The confortable hall of the resort is a fantastic meeting point to enjoy the wonderful sight of the sea, to take a drink in the beautiful little bar or to join the small lovely cinema or get in contact with the world at the Internet Point.
Common places are the reception, the restaurant on the beach always open for lunch, the sun-filled reception hall with its panoramic view, the bar, the library and the small movie theatre, as well as our Internet Point, all very frequented meeting places.
Furthermore we offer sport possibilities, e.g. windsurfing, diving, canoeing and sailing as well as tennis.
The private beach
The Hotel Residence Iselba offers a comfortable furnished private beach with swimming pool, bar, restaurant, sailing and windsurf school and is ideal for families with children.
The beach of Marina di Campo is the longest on the island of Elba, with almost 1.500 meters of golden and fine sand, forming a semicircle, which ends in the small port of the town.
The very fine sand, the charming cliffs, the mountains on the horizon and the extraordinary views on the sea, with the islands of Pianosa and Montecristo in the distance, all add to the striking beauty of this area.
It is possible to accede to the beach directly fro the residence – making the stay more relaxing – our bathing establishment provides our guests with deckchairs and beach umbrellas, included in the room price, playground for children with table tennis, slides, etc…
On the beach it is possible to have lunch at the Bar Ristorante da Piero which serves mainly fish dishes and, on some evenings of the week, special menus.
Next to the restaurant is the Zephyr school, which offers sail, windsurf and catamaran courses, for children and adults, and also rental of boards and canoes.
Near the beach are rental places for motorboats and rubber dinghies, for excursions along the south coast of the island, full of small beaches and bays.
At Marina di Campo there are many scuba diving centres which, in addition to renting equipment and offering courses, provide the possibility to make guided scuba diving excursions in the most beautiful spots of the southern coast of the island, from the Gemini islands, near the Gabbiani coast, to the hulk of Pomonte.
Bike fans can hire bicycles without charge. To this hotel belongs a free car parking and a private beach.
At the end of the La Foce beach in Marina di Campo there is the possibility to moore rubber and other small boats with mooring buoys. The mooring place is not guarded.
